It has a natural, subtle sheen, and is not overly glossy. Also, Tussar sarees often have irregularities like slubs or nubs in the weave. If you burn the edges slightly, it should smell like burnt hair without leaving any solid residue. Additinally, look for the silk mark icon on the product details page.
